Lovely very atmospheric hotel right in the heart of San Marco/ Rialto area of venice. Its set in a lovely quiet little courtyard with little walled outside seating area It felt like living in a movie! Very close to all the attractions and all the big designer stores right beside it. We just looked in the windows 😀😀😀Very helpful friendly staff. We had a very large comfortable room on the top floor room with huge bathroom, smart tv and a fridge. We also had their lovely continental breakfast which was very fresh and had good options to choose from. The gondolas sail past the dining room window! You can even get a gondola up to the hotel door! We spent 5 days here and really did not want to leave.

The staff at the reception were warm, friendly, polite and helpful. The check-in and check-out was simple and quick. We were given good local information on transport, location and restaurants. The room was excellent: both living space and bathroom were ample and comfortable. The bed was soft and everything was clean. It was quiet, too. Just a bit of walking noise from the upper floor, which is unavoidable in these type of historic buildings. Everything was in working order. The breakfast room was a bit small, but the food was varied and good quality. The service at breakfast was also good and fast.

Fabulous location close to San Marco. When we arrived we were greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful receptionist. We were lucky in that the hotel wasn't full and we were automatically upgraded to a room with canal view! We had requested two rooms near each other and this was provided. An excellent stay in this wonderful hotel. We arrived by private water taxi to the water door which was really cool although depending on the tide level, I understand this may not be possible - we were lucky. Kettle and cups were provided when requested.

We booked a room to be allocated on arrival and were pleased to be given a large room with a view over the adjacent canal (even if the view itself wasn't that special it made it clear that we were in Venice!). The bed was large and comfortable and we both slept well for the 4 nights we were here. Breakfast didn't have the widest choice but the food was plentiful and of good quality. The location, a few minutes walk from San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, was excellent - with plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions on the doorstep.

The reception staff were always very polite and helpful, the bell boy who brought my partner and I to our room was very friendly, the room (an upgrade given to us by the hotel - a very pleasant surprise we were not expecting) was clean, spacious, and had a gorgeous view of the city rooftops. Overall, I would definitely recommend choosing this hotel, and I'd stay here again!
